There are many ways of earning livelihood in urban areas.....

Both literate & illiterate can get jobs here.

1) If they are literate ( educated ) they can get good jobs in companies , banks , etc with proper wages ( salary )

2) If they are illiterate ( uneducated ) they may get jobs in small hotels , tea shops , etc with not proper facilities & salaries.....

EDUCATED PEOPLE will earn their livelihood well & comfortable with all luxury but UNEDUCATED PEOPLE will suffer a little bit in surviving their life.....but they can manage.....

People of urban areas are engaged in different activities. Some are rickshaw pullers, some are vendors, some are business persons, some are shopkeepers, some works in call centres, some works in office etc.
