10 years ago their ages were Prateek’s age x - 10 and Varsha's age x + 15 - 10 = x + 5

x + 5 = 4 (x - 10)

x + 5 = 4x - 40

x - 4x = -40 - 5

-3x = -45

3x = 45

x = 45/3

x = 15

This Prateek's present age is 15 years

Therefore Varsha's present age x + 15 = 15 + 15 = 30 years

Their present ages are Varsha's age 30 years and Prateek's age 15 years.
