✪ ||Solution|| ✪

profit\: in\: a\: pen = Rs.8

profit \:in\: 80 \:pens = Rs.8 × 80

               = Rs.640

loss \:on \:a \:pencil = 50paise

= ₹0.5

no. \:of\: pencil\: sold = Rs.640 ÷ Rs.0.5

  = 1280

{\green{\boxed{\boxed{\bf{ Answer : 1280\: pencils }}}}}\\

Profit in a pen = 38

Profit in a pen = 38 Profit in 80 pens = 38 x 80 = 3640

Profit in a pen = 38 Profit in 80 pens = 38 x 80 = 3640 Loss on a pencil = 50 paise

Profit in a pen = 38 Profit in 80 pens = 38 x 80 = 3640 Loss on a pencil = 50 paise = 0.5

Profit in a pen = 38 Profit in 80 pens = 38 x 80 = 3640 Loss on a pencil = 50 paise = 0.5 Number of pencil sold = 5640

= 30 . 5

= 1280
