varun takes a certain number of roti during lunch but always wastes half a roti rosa takes half the number of roti as varun and always finishes her share after 20 days if the number of rotis that were consumed during lunch by them together is 110 (excluding the roti wasted) then find the number of roti per meal that varun and rosa take how many rotis were wasted in 20 days

let roti taken by rosa be x
so roti taken by varun is 2x
so after twenty days 110 rotis were there excluding leftover rotis
so,we have
varun leaves roti =no.of rotis taken/2
=2x/2
=x
so,no. of roti varun leaves=no. of he eats
total rotis eaten in one day=x+x
=2x
total rotis eaten in twenty days=2x*20
and also given in Question=110
so,we have
2x*20=110
2x=110/20
2x=5.5
x=5.5/2
x=2.75

so,as mentioned above rotis varun takes=2x
=2*2.75
=5.5
also mentioned above that total rotis bith EAT in one day=2x
=2*2.75=5.5
no. of rotis they will eat in 20 days=5.5*20
=110
no. of rotis left in 20 days =2.75*20=55
