Varun takes a certain number of rotis during lunch ,but always wastes half a roti .rosatakes half the number of rotid as varun and always finishes her share.After 20 days if the number of rotis that were consumef during lunch by them together is 120 then find the number of rotis per meal that varun and rosa take .how many rotis were wasted in 20 days?

Number of roties varun waste=1/2
Number of roties Rosa waste=0
Number of roties Rosa takes from varun=1/2 of number of varun’s share
The total number of roties consumed by both=120
Number of days=20
So,no.of roties varun eats=120/2=60
Varun wastes half a day so,it will be=60/2=30=30/2=15
So therefore 15 roties are wasted.
