CP for vas = a

SP for vas = CP of Radha

= a x 120/100 = 1.2a

SP of Radha = CP of man

1.2a x 104/100 = 624

124.8a = 62400

a = 62400/124.8 = 500

CP of the article = Rs.500

Answer:

It cost about 500 rupees for that man to his paid rupees of 624.

Given:

Vas sells an article to Radha at a profit of 20% Radha sell it to mens at a profit of 4%.

To find:

What does it cost for that man his paid rupees 624

Solution:

Let the cost price be Rs.x

20% profit =\frac{120}{100}

4% profit = \frac{4}{100}

\frac{120}{100} \times \frac{4}{100} \times x = 624

124.8 x = 62400

x = Rs.500

Result:

It cost about 500 rupees for that man to his paid rupees of 624.
