Vascular Bundle Types.

  1. According to Cambium:
  • Open - Cambium is present
  • Closed - Cambium is absent

Extra : Cambium is the “living” part of the woody plant stem. The cambium is where the xylem and phloem is, which conveys water up to the top and sugars down to the roots. The woody portion is the structure, the bark is the protection, and the cambium provides the living highway between manufacturing (leaves) and storage and acquisition (the roots).

2. According to Xylem and Phloem

  • Radial - Xylem Phloem are on different radii
  • Conjoint - They both are on same radii
  • Concentric - One of them surrounds the other.
