I think vast democratic countries like India multiparty system is only possible option for good governance & proper voice for law & order .Needless to say that we are country of huge population with great diversification of language, caste & area .Hence to represent all at one level is not possible by 3-4 parties. That’s why we can see that sometimes regional parties are more powerful than one or two major parties at center. We can see since our independence growing numbers of parties for the representation of different gropes on the classification of area, nature or sometimes on the behalf of occupation.

As long as parties think & act on the progress of nation India we don’t mind their growing numbers unfortunately it’s not happening .Parties are becoming the means of business & fooling the honest citizens

 India is a large country and has social and geographical diversities.
India is such a large country which is not easily absorbed by two or three parties.
It is easy to absorb different diversities in a multiParty Systems. 
The system allows a variety of interests and opinions to enjoy political representation.
