heya friend,
its quite easy question
see the steps:

A=3i+4j and B =i-j ,  in x-y plane.

Let their resultant be

R , Thus R = 3i+4j + i - j => 4i -3j

We know resultant to two vectors is given by
R = √A²+B²+2ABcos∅

Here ∅ = 90° since the vectors are perpendicular to each other
thus R = √4²+(-3)²+0 => 5

Answer is 5

Hope this helps!!!!!!!!
