As A=8m and B =10m and angle between them is 90° . As we know A.B=AB cos thita

Therefore A.B =80 cos 90 =0

Dear Student,

● Answer -

AB = 12.8 m

◆ Explaination -

# Given -

A = 8 m

B = 10 m

θ = 90°

# Solution -

Resultant vector AB is given by formula -

R = √(x^2 + y^2 + 2xycosθ)

Here,

AB = √(A^2 + B^2 + 2×A×B×cosθ)

AB = √(8^2 + 10^2 + 2×8×10×cos90°)

AB = √(64 + 100 + 160×0)

AB = √(164)

AB = 12.8 m

Hence, resultant vector AB is 12.8 m.

Thanks dear. Hope this is helpful to you...
