Ved completes 1 round of circular track of diameter 140 m and 30 sec.

Given that, the diameter is 140 m. So, the radius is 70 m (half of diameter).

Distance cover in one round (during 30 seconds) = 2πr

(2πr = Circumference of the circle)

→ 2 × 22/7 × 70

→ 440 m

Distance covered in 1 second (during first or one round) = 440/30 = 14.67 m

We have to find the displacement at the end of 2min 30s.

Ved covers 5 rounds (150/30). As the initial and final points are same. Therefore, the displacement of Ved after 2 min 30 sec is zero.

Distance covered in 2min 30sec or 150 sec = 14.67 × 150 = 2200.5 m (approx.)

Answer:

2200m,0m

Explanation:

                       diameter   = 140m

          radius of the track = diameter / 2   =  70m

distance travelled after one round = circumference of circle = 2(22/7)(radius)

                         distance    =  44/7(70)

                        distance     =  440m

                             time       =  30s

                        speed = distance / time

                             speed = 44/3 m/s

                  distance after 2min30sec :

                          time   =  150 s

                          speed= 44/3m/s

               distance =speed x time = 2200m

           2200m = 2200/440 revolutions = 5 revolutions

           after 5 revolutions he will reach same point

         so displacement = 0m

please mark it as the brainliest answer

hope it helps
