Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of square

=4× side

=4 × 42

=168 m

No. of times Vedant ran around the square Park

=3

Total distance of Vedant

= 168×3

= 504 m

perimeter of rectangle

= 2×( length+breadth)

= 2×(40+18)

= 2× 58

= 116 m

No. of times Rehan ran around the rectangular park

=5

Total distance of Rehan

= 116×5

= 580 m

Therefore,

Rehan's distance= 580m

Vedant's distance=504m

Ans: Rehan covers more distance that Vedant by 580 - 504 = 76m

Hope it helps you and I am very sorry if it is wrong.

perimeter of square = 4*Sides

perimeter of rectangle = 2*( Length + Breath )

Use this formula
