Now, length of border = 2[(2m + 50cm) + (1m + 30cm)]

= 2[3m + 80 cm]

= 6 m + 160 cm

= 6m + 100 cm + 60 cm

But we know, 100 cm = 1m

= 6m + 1 m + 60 cm

= 7m + 60 cm

Therefore the length of border is 7 m 60cm.
