➡ Let the total amount of money be Rs. x.

➡ Money spent on house rent = Rs. (15% of x.)
= Rs. {x×(15/100)}
= Rs. (3x/20)

➡ Now money amount left = Rs. {x-(3x/20)}
= Rs.(17x/20)

➡ Money spent on house expenditure
= Rs. {(60/100)×(17x/20)}
= Rs. (51x/100)

➡ Money left = Rs. {(17x/20)-(51x/100)}
= Rs. 34x/100

➡ According to problem,

34x/100 = 2210
=> x = (2210×100)/34
=> x = 6500

Let us assume the monthly income of Veer be ₹ x.

Hence,

Expenditure on house rent = 15% of x
Expenditure on house rent = 15/100 * x
Expenditure on house rent = 3/20 * x
Expenditure on house rent = 3x / 20

Money left after paying house rent = Monthly Income - House Rent
Money left after paying house rent = x - 3x/20
Money left after paying house rent = ( 20x - 3x ) / 20
Money left after paying house rent = 17x / 20

Now,

Household Expenditure = 60% of 17x/20
Household Expenditure = 60/100 * 17x/20
Household Expenditure = 3/100 * 17x
Household Expenditure = 51x/100

Money saved = Monthly Income - Total Expenditure
Money saved = x - ( 3x/20 + 51x/100 )
Money saved = x - ( 15x/100 + 51x/100 )
Money saved = x - 66x/100
Money saved = x - 0.66
Money saved = 0.34 x

But, according to the question,

Money saved = ₹ 2210

Hence,

0.34x = 2210

Shifting ( 0.34 * ) from LHS to RHS,

x = 2210 / 0.34
x = 221000 / 34
x = 6500

Hence,

Monthly income of Veer = ₹ x = ₹ 6500
