vehicle covers a certain distance in 52 minutes with a uniform speed of 60 km per hour how much time will it take to cover the same distance when its speed is decreased to 26 km per hour​

Ok so in the first case

T = 52 min

If we convert it into hours (because the speed is in km per hour) it will be = 52/60 hours

and S = 60 km per hour

thus we can find the distance by using the formula-

S = D/T

D = S x T

thus D = 60 x 52/60 = 52 kilometres

Now in the second case

D is the same i.e 52 km

but S = 26 km per hour

thus by using the same formula

S = D/T

T = D/S

thus T = 52/26 = 2 hours
