You are wrong. Arteries have thicker walls as compared to veins because they have to withstand the pressure of beating heart.

"ARTERIES HAVE THICK WALLS AS COMPARED TO ARTERIES"
Arteries are the vessels which carries blood away from the heart❤ to various organs of the body. The blood emerges from the heart❤ under high pressure. So the Arteries have thick and elastic walls.
Veins collect blood from different organs and bring it back to heart❤. They don't need thick walls because the blood is no longer under pressure. They have valves that ensure that the blood flows only in one direction.
