Veins have valves which allow blood to flow only in one direction. Arteries do not have valves. Yet the blood flows in one direction only. Can you explain why?

Answer:

Veins have valves because

Explanation:

In arteries, the blood flows with more pressure...hence it do not contain valves since it can't flow back due to the pressure

Whereas in veins the blood flows with less pressure which can cause the blood to flow backwards

To prevent this...veins contain valves so that blood doesn't flows back

hence they contain valves and arteries do not
