Veins have valves which allow blood to flow only in one direction. Arteries do not have valves. Yet the blood flows in one direction only. Can you explain why

Answer:

It's because artries receive oxygenated blood directly from the heart with great pressure hence, they do not need valves to prevent the back flow of blood.
