Velamen is a multiple epidermis, spongy in nature which covers the roots of some epiphytic or semi-epiphytic plants.

It consists of non-living compact cells with lignified strips of secondary walls.

The answer to this question is (b) Vanda.

With the help of Velamen the Epiphytic roots are able to absorb moisture from the atmosphere.
