Here ,,,,,,,, R= horizontal range of a projectile
u = 20m/s = initial velocity of projection
g =9.8m/s² ≈10m/s²= Acceleration due to gravity
θ = 450 = angle of projection
Therefore equation (1) becomes
R=202sin(900)10 [sincesin900=1]
⇒R=20×2010=20×2=40m
