u = 20 m/s

v= 25 m/s

a = 20 m/s^2

using third equation of motion we get,

 {v}^{2}  -  {u}^{2}  = 2as \\  {25}^{2}  -  {20}^{2}  = 2 \times 20 \times s \\ 225 = 40s \\ s = 5.625m

the distance covered by the body is 5.625 m
