velocity of an object of mass 5kg increased from 3m/s to7m/s on applying force continuesly 2sec. find out the force applied if the duration for which force act it extended to 5sec what will be the velocity of the object then?

Given :-
- mass = 5 kg
- initial velocity = 3 m/s
- final velocity = 7 m/s
- time taken = 2 sec
Solution :-
So, F = ?
→ [ F = m ( v - u ) / t ]
→ F = 5 ( 7 - 3 ) / 2
→ F = 35 - 15 / 2
→ F = 10 N
Now,
→ [ v = u + at ]
→ 7 = 3 + a × 2
→ 4 = 2a
→ a = 2 m/s² ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ Ans ( i )
Therefore, in second case
→ [ v = u + at ]
→ v = 3 + 2 × 5
→ v = 3 + 10
→ v = 13 m/s ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ Ans ( ii )
