What is wavelength ?


Answer :-

Wavelength is the distance between two successive compression and rarefaction .


Formula :

distance between successive compression = wavelength / 4

= wavelength = 4 × 1 m

                       = 4 m

Velocity of sound = 360 m/s


Formula :

Velocity of wave = frequency × wavelength

= > frequency = velocity / wavelength

= > frequency = 360 m / s / 4 m

= > frequency = 90 / s

= > frequency = 90 Hz


ANSWER :

The frequency of the wave is 90 Hz
