The total displacement travelled by the body is given by the area of the trapezium, i.e.,

\longrightarrow\sf{s=\dfrac {1}{2}\times 30((10-5)+15}

\longrightarrow\sf{s=\dfrac {1}{2}\times 30\times20}

\longrightarrow\sf{\underline {\underline {s=300\ m}}}

Given:-

v = 30

u = 10 - 5 = 5

t = 15

By Using:-

s → ½( v + u )t

~ Where S is used for Displacement , displacement = average velocity × time!

v = Final velocity and u = initial velocity!

t = time taken.

Solve :-

S = ½ ( 30 ( 10 - 5 ) + 15 )

S = ½ ( 30 (20) )

S = 300m
