Velu stood on the platform but he felt "as if he was still on a moving
train". Why?

This feeling was because,he had survived on peanuts all the way down-town.Also,he had been sitting all the time in the train ,so he felt dizzy.... as if he was still on a moving train.You see,he was hungry and hunger gives this faint kind of feeling.

velu had run away from house- bring small boy he was naturally tired , hungry and afraid of the ticket examiner. he lay down near the compartment door. he could not get over the feeling that his train journey was over..
