Venus flytrap is actually a plant which has distinct body parts due to its plant structure. It is divided into root, stem and leaves. It derives its food from photosynthesis. At the same time, it feeds on insects or is heterotrophic in nature. It derives its food from other oraganism as well as from CO₂ (Carbon Dioxide) and H₂O (Water). This phenomenon makes it partially heterotrophic.
