soln. :- First ,

40 out of 25 students are boys which mean remaining 15 student must be girls .

Total weight of 25 boys = 48*25 =1200kg...(1)

total weight of 40 students = 40*45 =1800kg...(2)

now substrate eq (1) from eq(2)
we get , total weight of 15 girls

Total weight of 15 girls = 600
so the average weight of each girls = 600/15 = 40
