csa of cylinder = πdh

= 22/7×63×400

= 79,200 cm²

total area to be white washed is 79,200×10 = 7,92,000

The concrete mixture is required to construct the pillars is 1.2474 cubic m and The curved surface area of pillar is 3.9722 sq.m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Height of each pillar = 4 m

Diameter of pillar = 63 cm = 0.63 m

Radius of pillar = \frac{0.63}{2}=0.315 m

Volume of 1 pillar =\pi r^2 h = \frac{22}{7} \times 0.315^2 \times 4 =1.2474 m^3

Volume of 10 pillars =1.247 \times 10 =12.47 m^3

Curved surface area of pillar =\pi r \sqrt{h^2+r^2}=\frac{22}{7} \times 0.315 \times \sqrt{4^2+0.315^2}=3.9722 m^2

Hence The concrete mixture is required to construct the pillars is 1.2474 cubic m and The curved surface area of pillar is 3.9722 sq.m.
