Length = 2.25 + 5 + 2.25 = 9.5m

Breadth = 2.25 + 3 + 2.25 = 7.5 m

1. Area of verandah including room = 9.5 X 7.5 = 71.25 m^2

2. Area of room = 5x 3 = 15 m^2

Therefore, area of verandah = 1. - 2.

= 56.25 m^2

Cost of cementing 1m^2 = Rs.275

Therefore, cost of cementing verandah = 56.25 × 275

= Rs.15468.75
