= area of outer boundary- area of the room
length of the room l = 5.5 m
width of the room b = 4 m
length of outer boundary
L = 32.25 + 5.5 = 37.75 m
width of outer boundary B = 32.25 + 4 = 36.25 m
area of outer boundary = L × B
37.75 × 36.25
=> 1368.4375 m²
Area of the room = l × b = 5.5 × 4
=> 22 m²
therefore are of the verandah = 1368.4375-22
=> 1346.4375 m²
cost cementing the verandah
=> 1346.4375 × 200
=> Rs 2,69,287.50
