Verbs varies or changes with tenses .I think u know about subject verb agreement. Which tense do u want ?
1.Simple present ( with singular 3 person )- promises.
( with plural or 1 and 2 persons)- promise.
2.Simple continuous - promising.
3.Present perfect ( with singular 3 person )- has promised.
( with plural or 1 and 2 persons )- have promised.
4.Present perfect continuous ( with singular 3 person )- has been promising
( with plural or 1 and 2 persons )- have been promising.
5. Present past- promised.
6.Past continuous - was promising.
7.Past perfect- had promised.
8.Past perfect continuous - had been promising.
9.Simple future - will / shall promise.
10.Future continuous- will / shall be promising.
11.Future perfect - will / shall have promised.
12.Future perfect continuous - will/ shall have been promised.
