Let P (0, 7, 10), Q (–1, 6, 6) and R (– 4, 9, 6) be the given three points.

PQ=root 1+1+16=3root2

QR=root 9+9+0=3root2

PR=root 16+4+16= 6

Now PQ2 + QR2 = (3√2 )2 +(3√2 )2= 18 + 18 = 36 = (PR)2 Therefore, Δ PQR is a right angled triangle at Q. Also PQ = QR. Hence Δ PQR is an isosceles triangle.
