Answer:

hi mate

here is your answer

2/3 × (-1/2 + 2/5) = 2/3 ( -1/2) + 2/3 × 2/5

LHS =

=2/3 × (-1/2 + 2/5)

=2/3 × (-1×5+2×2/5×2)

= 2/3 × (-5+4/10)

=2/3 × (-1/10)

= 2×(-1)/10×3

= -2 /30

= -1/15 -----------EQUATION 1

RHS =

=2/3 (-1/2) + 2/3 × 2/5

= 2×(-1) /3 × 2 + 2× 2 / 5× 3

=(-2)/6 + 4/15

= (-1 /3) + 4/5

= (-1)×5 +3×4 /5×3

=(-5) +12 /15

= 7/15 --------------- EQUATION 2

FROM EQUATION 1 AND 2

WE GET 2 KNOW THAT

LHS IS NOT EQUAL TO RHS

hope it helped you
