First lets solve the LHS.

We have,

2/3 x (4/5 + 6/8)

Thus,

2/3 x (62/40)

2/3 x 31/20

= 31/30.

Now the RHS.

We have,

(2/3 x 4/5) + (2/3 x 6/8)

That is,

8/15 + 12/24

= 8/15 + 1/2

= 31/30.

Hence,

LHS = RHS.

Hence, verified.
