  \frac{ - 2}{3}  \times ( \frac{ - 5}{4}  +  \frac{4}{7} ) =  \frac{ - 2}{3 }  \times  \frac{ - 5}{7}  +  \frac{ - 3}{2}  \times   \frac{ - 5}{1}

 \frac{ - 2}{3}  \times (  \frac{ - 5 + 4}{28} )=  \frac{ 10}{21} +  \frac{15}{2}

 \frac{ - 2}{3}  \times  \frac{ - 1}{28} = \frac{ 10 + 15}{42}

 \frac{2}{84}  =  \frac{25}{42}

Therefore, it is not equal
