For two sets to be disjoint, their intersection must be a null set.

Let the intersection set of A and B is set C

Thus, C = (A)int(B)

= {20,22,23,24}int{25,30,40,45}

= { }

=> C = { } = a null set.

Thus, It is verified that the given sets A and B are disjoint sets.

Step-by-step explanation:

A={20,22,23,24} and B={25,30,40,45}

A intersect B= ∅

Two sets are said to be disjoint sets if they have no element in common.

therefore the given two set i.e. A and B are disjoint set
