Answer:

ANSWER IS GIVEN BELOW. PLEASE MARK BRAINLIEST IF YOU UNDERSTAND IT PROPERLY.

Step-by-step explanation:

LHS = a(b+c)

RHS = ab + ac

Given :- a = 3/4 b = -1/2 c = -2/3

LHS                                                                         RHS

a(b+c)                                                                    ab +ac

3/4 (-1/2 + -2/3)                                                 (3/4 X -1/2) + (3/4 X -2/3)

3/4 (-1/2 - 2/3)                                                  -3/8 + -1/2

3/4 X -7/6                                                           -3/8 - 1/2

-21/24                                                                    -14/16

-7/8                                                                       -7/8

        Therefore, LHS = RHS

        Hence, by taking values a = 3/4, b = -1/2, c= -2/3, it is proved that a(b+c) = ab + ac.
