Given :-

Verify :-

Verification

If, a, b & c given, then associative property will bd

• a + (b + c) = (a + b) + c

So, Now we calculate one by one

First take L.H.S.

= (x + y ) + z

= ( -7/11 + 2/11) + 3/11

= (-7+2)/11 + 3/11

= -5)11 + 3/11

= (-5 + 3)/11

= -2/11

Now, take R.H.S.

= x + (y + z)

= -7/11 + ( 2/11 + 3/11)

= -7/11 + ( 2 + 3)/11

= -7/11 + 5/11

= (-7 + 5)/11

= -2/11

Here

L.H.S. = R.H.S.

Since, Associative property hold here.
