A triangular pyramid has 4 faces, including the base, are triangles, 4 veritces and 6 edges. Hence, The Euler's Formula is verified for a Triangular Pyramid

19rishika04: Mathematicians have derived Euler's formula for these and similar shapes. It states that for a polyhedron the number of faces plus the number of vertices minus the number of edges is always two. For a triangular prism, this formula holds true: (5 + 6 - 9 = 2).

As we know that Euler formula is,

F+V=E+2

Where F is the faces on the body, V is vertices on the body and E is the edge of the body.

Given: Triangular Prism

In Triangular Prism Face F  is 5, Vertices V is 9  and Edge E is 6.

F+V=E+2\\5+6=9+2

    11=11

Hence Verified
