hiii!!!

here's Ur answer..

▶for PRISM

prism can be a cube, cuboid etc.. but basically we call triangular prism as a prism.

according to triangular prism..

vertices = 6

edges = 9

faces = 5

verification :-

RHS = 2

LHS :

V - E + F

= ( 6 - 9 ) + 5

= -3 + 5

= 2

hence verified

LHS = RHS

▶for PYRAMID

pyramids can also be triangular or square. bus basic one is square pyramid.

according to square pyramid :-

verticies = 5

edges = 8

faces = 5

verification :-

RHS = 2

LHS :

V - E + F

= ( 5 - 8 ) + 5

= -3 + 5

= 2

hence verified

LHS = RHS

hope this helps..!!
