Step-by-step explanation:

a=2/3,b=4/5,c=(-5/6)

verify:

i) associative property of addition,

=a+(b+c)=(a+b)+c

L.H.S. R.H.S.

=2/3+[4/5+(-5/6) =[2/3+4/5]+(-5/6)

=2/3+(-1/30) = 22/15+(-5/6)

=2/3-1/30 =57/90

=57/90

it is verifed.

L.H.S.= R.H.S

ii)associative property of multiplication,

=a(bc)=(ab)c

L.H.S. R.H.S.

=2/3[4/5×(-5/6)] =[2/3×4/5](-5/6)

=2/3[-2/3] =[8/15](-5/6)

=(-4/9) =(-40/90)

in simplest form =(-4/9)

it is verified.

L.H.S.= R.H.S
