Heya !!!

P(X) = 3X³ - 5X² -11X - 3

P(3) = 3 × (3)³ - 5 × (3)² - 11 × 3 -3

=> 3 × 27 - 5 × 9 - 33 -3

=> 81 - 45 -36

=> 81 - 81 = 0

Remainder = 0

It means 3 is a zero of the given polynomial.

P( X ) = 3X³ -5X² -11X -3

Here,

A = 3 , B = -5 , C = -11 and D = -3

Sum of zeroes = -B/A = -5/3

And,

Product of zeroes = -D/A = 3/3 = 1

(2) P(-1)

P(-1) = 3 × (-1)³ -5 × (-1)² -11 × -1 -3

=> 3 × -1 - 5 × 1 + 11 -3

=> -3 - 5 + 8

=> -8+8 = 0

REMAINDER = 0

It means -1 is a zero of the given polynomial.

(3) P (-1/3)

Same as (1) and (2).

Heya mate,

here is your answer,

_______________

● Verifying zeroes :-

==================

•••••••••••••••••••••

=> At x = 3 ,

Since p (3) = 0

Hence , 3 is zero of p (x)

••••••••••••••••••••••

=> At x = -1

Since p (-1) = 0

Hence , -1 is zero of p (x)

•••••••••••••••••••••

=> At x = -1/3

Since p (-1/3) = 0

Hence, -1/3 is zero of p (x)

••••••••••••••••••••••

● Verifying relationship between zeroes and coefficients
