Answer:

(I) a=21

b=18

LHS= a-(-b)= 21-(-18)= 21+18= 39

RHS= a+b= 21+18=39

so LHS= RHS. (proved)

ii)a=28

b=11

LHS= a-(-b)= 28-(-11)= 28+11= 39

RHS= a+b= 28+11= 39

so LHS= RHS. (proved)

Answer:

L.H.S :

a-(-b) = a + b = R.H.S

(i) 21-(-18) = 21 + 18 = 39

(ii) 28-(-11) = 28 + 11 = 39

Hence verified..

hope this helps you...
