Verify that a-(-b) = a+b for the values of a= 28 b= 13​

a=28,b=11

LHS=a−(−b)=28−(−11)

=28+11

a−(−b)=39

RHS=a+b=28+11=39

Hence, in all the terms we can find that the LHS is equal to the RHS.

Hence a-(-b)=a+ba−(−b)=a+b is verified.
