Verify that -(a+b)=(-a)+(-b)when a=3/4 , b=3/4

Answer:

-(a+b) =(-a) + (-b)

-(3/4 + 3/4) = (-3/4) + (-3/4)

Note that ( / ) in math means division

-( \frac{3}{4} + \frac{3}{4} ) = ( -\frac{3}{4} ) + ( -\frac{3}{4} )

First add number in bracket and note that plus sign ( + ) when meet with minus sign (-) it become minus sign only in rule of math

-\frac{3}{2} = -\frac{3}{2}

-3/2 = -3/2

    Hence verified
