=-41/12
RHS=a+(b+c)
=-2+(-2/3+(-3/4))
=-2+(-2/3-3/4)
=-2+[(-8-9)/12]
=-2+(-17/12)
=-2-17/12
=(-24-17)/12
=-41/12
LHS=RHS
(a+b)+c=a+(b+c)
