(a+b) +C=a+(b+C)

=(-2/3+5/6)+-5/8=-2/3+(5/6+-5/8)

=(-4+5/6)+-5/8=-2/3+(20+-15/24)

=1/6+-5/8=-2/3+5/24

=4+-15/24=-16+5/24

=-11/24=-11/24

Step-by-step explanation:

the sum went like this

in the statement they have given us

  1. a =to minus 2 by 3 b is equal to minus 5 by 6 and c is equal to minus 5 by 8
  2. in a question they said we have to use (a+b)+c.=(a+b)+c

Left hand side (a + b) + c

  • (-+) + -

15+(-12)/18-(-5/8)

  • 3/18cut on table of = -5/8
  • 1/6-5/8

8-30/48= -22/48= -11/
