Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

a= -5/9, b= 3/-5, c= -13/5

to prove,

(a+b)+c = a+(b+c)

proof,

LHS:

(a+b) +c = (-5/9+3/-15) + (-13/5)

= 102/-135 + -13/5

= 510 + 1755 / -675

= 2265 / -675

= -151/45

RHS:

a+(b+c) = -5/9+(3/-15 + -13/5)

= -5/9 + 210/-75

= 2265/-675

= -151/45

since LHS = RHS

it is proved that (a+b) +c = a+(b+c)

Hope it helps!!!
