smallest rational number = -5/6
4/-9 , -5/6 , 7/18 , -2/3            (LCM of 9, 6, 18, 3 = 18)
-8/18 , -15/18 , 7/18 , -12/18
-15/18 < -12/18 < -8/18 < 7/18
-5/6 < -2/3 < 4/-9 < 7/18
Hence, -5/6 is the smallest rational number.
