Verify that the triangle having the following measures
is a right angled when a = 9 cm, b = 12 cm and c = 15

in a right angle triangle the hypotenuse is the longest side so we will use Pythagoras theorem here that means hypotenuse square equals base square+ perpendicular square

therefore 9 square + 12 square = 15 square

81 + 144=225

225 equals to 25 l s = rs therefore a right angle triangle can have the measures 9 CM 12 cm and 15 CM respectively

you have to check if the small sides are equal to the big side

a2 +b2 =c2

(9^2)+(12^2)=(15^2)

81 + 144 = 225

225 = 225

so it is a right angled triangle
